Sexualised burlesque, monster beauty, feminised drag … In Where do you want me to kiss you? the creature is woman, and she is playing God. Once a young girl playing with her dollhouse, she has grown up and the serene scene of suburbia has become warped.

Where do you want me to kiss you? offers an iconic vision of femininity in the guise of the Femme Fatale. In this world, sexual representation is play and everything is a performance. Sex is murder, but the question is why. How did the men in the house die? Were they lured into her web, or were they not invited? All we have is the question: “Where do you want me to kiss you?”

A video installation that explores the figure of the femme fatale in our culture, while at the same time creating a horrific mystery around a haunted house and the aftermath of a massacre. A serene scene of suburban living is turned into a location of fear for its male inhabitants. The gallery space has video projected onto its walls of the sexy yet horrific woman repeating the same question: “Where do you want me to kiss you?” In the centre of the room, surrounded by the video, is a miniature house. The red lights throb on and off in time to the red throbbing in the video. Inside the house the figurines of men can be seen crawling along the walls, propping themselves up, or lying dead. There is blood coming from them and splashed across the walls. The sound of their groans emanates from the house. The grass is clipped, the furniture is new, the design is modern living. The men are dressed in suits.
